While we're at the topic of wedding orang lain, the two weddings I attended over the weekends had live traditional malay band. Alahaiiii...favouritenyee aku! R's Aunty Su's (omg i'm still giggling calling her by this) hotel reception used the service of AltoAura, hosted by Hyrul Anuar (the Suria guy).
Nazurah's reception had Munir Band Traditional to grace their event. She told me their kompang boys are included as well. Omg I must tell u how cute the kompang boys were! The girls' side had 3 hadangan and each took about 5 min & more, sampai the last hadangan, the kompang boys, who had been beating their kompangs for light years, broke out into a kompang song "oiii cepat sikiiiit, tangan sakit". LOL!
As much as I would love to grab the live bands sebab aku minat lagu traditional, that would be an unnecessary splurge...unless ada orang nak sponsor! Oh well.
