Kay ell bound

So I had a break, transitioning from old workplace to the new one on 1 April. Went on a short trip to KL with Mali darling! Mission: to find my kain buat baju nikah! And shop and shop and shop.

1st day was spent washing our eyes on the rows and rows and rows of shops in Sungei Wang Plaza near our hotel in Bukit Bintang. It's like an indoor Bugis street yo.

2nd day, we cabbed to the ever famous Masjid India or Masjid Jamek. Lucky us we dropped off at Jakel. Yes! The fabric shop where Aaron Aziz is the ambassador for their baju melayu. Just definitely went crayzee finding the perfect chiffon and border lace to go with it.  Mali also decided to buy some kain to make herself a skirt anddddd... The bridesmaid dress for my wedding!!!

Mali with her skirt-to-be!

Border lace excitement kicking in!!! MAHAL NAK MAMPOS YE BUT WHATEVER JUST GO FOR IT, NIS!

B-o-r-d-e-r L-a-c-e!!!

Honestly the border lace costs me more than the normal kains I bought to make the dress sia. We actually walked around to see if there were other shops selling them at better prices but Jakel had the best border lace around the area. So went back and for half a meter, yes, just half a meter, it costs me so so much. Lol.

Sneak peek:

Official bridesmaids colour! Errr anywhere within the 'plum' family actually! :D

So so so happy gotten the kain. Now my worry is... Who's gonna sew it seh? Meh.
