I believe I totally deserve a pat on both my shoulders! Today I clinched two deals! Secured places for my gubahan dulang hantaran and photo/videography! Paid them deposits & yay! So excited already!
It's been a longggggg process trying to find THE right photographer/videographer, with the right price package and something that is worth it. As you guys can tell from the previous entries I posted on my bridesboy's reports. But alhamdulillah, we've settled with Avicenna Studio. They've just opened a branch in Singapore; they are based in Malaysia. R's uncle & aunt took them for their hotel wedding reception just last January. Also, see who is in their portfolio! Rozita Che Wan la sey...
Ok whatever, aku bukan big fan lah eh but it's good to know they are THAT established! Hope they can capture the best moments of our big day!
That aside, remember how I was fan-gurling over Elly Weddings on their dais set-up? I still am bummed that we can't use them lah since our location already has their in-house decor, but then I realise they do wedding gift trays as well so hey!
So purddyy hor! It's within our budget too! R asked me to liaise this with his aunt(s) so they don't feel left out on the preps.................. Not that I'm complaining.
So yeah! That and the fact that R is away working overseas from yesterday till the end of the month. BIG SIGH. Oh! And we bought my wedding ring already! Custom-designed it from Gem By Gems. So excited lor that my ring you guys cannot find from other ring shops :P That one in May then can see final product. There are some other things on the pending list:
1) Liaising & booking of venue with my family (TOMORROW!)
2) Wedding invitation cards (doing drafts now)
3) Baju nikah rental (postponed till April)
4) Meeting with Avicenna Studio (postponed till April)
5) Meeting & fitting with Merah Jambu The Bridal Room (April)
6) Book ROMM (April)
7) Berkat (when eh Bridesmaid Z? I pun tgh stress)
8) Buy hantaran stuff (I don't know if we should buy in April when R is back or wait till June for GSS but R will be away again.)
9) Wedding shoes
10) Room revamp
I suppose that should be it, no? Did I miss out anything?
